The photo special on which Bob was riding the caboose #0500 paused on the highline and let out those who wanted to shoot from this vantage point (Bob stayed onboard). It then backed up to Rockwood to allow the 2 regular scheduled trains and the Tacoma convention special to pass. Once all 3 southbound trains had passed the special rolled around the highline for one more photo runby and this was how the shot with Bob on the platform was captured as the train rolled by. The shot of 482 below was taken after it had blown down creating the rainbow. Or maybe the rainbow was always there and I just discovered it by realizing some moments in time are more precious than all the gold at the end of the rainbow.... thank you D&S for providing the opporunity to experience the magic at the end of your rainbow...
