I too met Mr. Richardson many years ago. When my parents checked into the Narrow Gauge Motel in Septemeber of 1956. I asked if I could climb up on what turned out to be # 346.
His reply was; climb all you want, just don't fall off. Somehow I think this was the early beginning of interactive education. After surviving crawling up and over everything that was out there we headed off to South Fork the next day.
Many years and letters later, Bob Richardson has never changed. He has more books out, more friends and fans now: yet he's still the same guy. At the same time, you have his undivided attention in conversation no matter what your level of expertise. Bob is a master listener among his many other talents. I guess its all about vision. Mr. Richardson is ultimately looking forward. Some things never change.
