Interesting news, good for the D&S

It is not a disgrace that the D&S is contemplating painting the 480 in Bumblebee colors.
I do find it interesting that it is so difficult for some individuals to comprehend that the history of the Silverton Branch didn't end in 1979. Sorta like the new Loop beyond 1937.
The D&RGW sold the line in 1979, that would be what, only 27 years ago? I'll play devil's advocate and say it's about time somebody painted a 480 in Bumblebee colors, what took so long?
Good for the D&S. At least they are trying to give their customers something new for Railfest, and why not? Just because the D&RGW didn't do it? Oh, please.......
Here's something I'd like to see, how about putting a fake stack on #478 and running her as she appeared for over 20 years? Wouldn't cost a dime, and it's bona-fide authentic.
I know it is, I was lucky enough to have seen it.
Maybe next year.....?
