Brian:
In the book "Legends of Steam" by Colin Garratt, page 253, there is a beautiful classic and complete inside frame Mikado that is in yellow and apears to be just out-shopped ready for a run. The book gives the following description, "The 3 foot gauge Baldwin Mikado was built in 1927 and works on the 80 mile long Huancayo to Huancavelica Railway in Peru. This fascinating railway traverses narrow gorges, swirling river torrents, tunnels, bridges and abounds in step grades." This engine should come state side and be active on the revitalized SVRR, NCNGRR, C&TSRR, or even the C&CNG RR (if the latter can get their act together and realize their true destiny).
