I got to see 10 images from David Rogers a few minutes ago. Am trying to contact him about a web site to send folks to for viewing the images, or finding out about his tours. I think folks here would enjoy the photos. If you don't like these steam shots, you are not a steam lover, pure and simple!!! I might not be able to do anyting more for a week or so, but will try to post any more info I get. Makes me want to go back to South Africa after seeing this stuff. Engine 3472 was used, plus later that 4-8-4 is at Furiesburg with a 15F(4-8-2), on the other side of the water tank on a freight. They then use the 15F on the passenger train, which is the old cream and red coaching stock of about 12 coaches. Quite nice images from reflection silloutes to evening glints, to distant curves with snowcapped mountains...awesome images! Hard to tell it is 2006!!!
