After working on the D&S MOW, the rail that is from Dugango Yard through town is 65 lb. rail. From there it is mostly 800, 850, 851 which is all 85 lb. rail. The difference is all in the punch. Now, from Elk Park north the rail is 90 lb. rail.
I was once told by a the old Roadmaster that most of the current rail that is used was purchased from the old Rio Grande when they started going to larger rail, 131, 133, 132, 136, 141.
The new X-ing in Hermosa is either 110, or 115. I never did look.
