As far as I know the use of the various exsisting buildings for rental has been put on hold.
If we has a rich uncle we would rebuild all of the buildings torn down if it were appropriate for the period the railraod is supposed to represent. We are currently marking the locations of the buildings no longer there at the Cumbres location. This includes the Bunk house, Depot, original water tank, Turntable and the extension of the snow shed. I think there is a desire to rebuild more of teh snow shed but it also takes a lot of money.
The Section house is pretty nearly completely restored and is slated to be an on site Museum open in the summers with volenteer docents. In the comoing year we should complete the restoration of the out buildings of the Car Inspectors house. The well house has been repaired as has the spring house behind the depot location. Remaining to deal with are the log cabin, the post office and store and the motel cabins none of which were RR buildings but none the less are part of the historical remains
Come out and help it is good for the sole.
