One other thing that may be coincidental is that scrapping the mainline was completed in 1949, or at least this is when the the cars that were used for scrapping were retired (6-30-49) in terms of the ICC. The 105 was also retired in 49. Perhaps this might give a slight indication that it could have been used. I will try to remember to discuss this subject with SVRy historian Ron Harr the next time we talk.
