Just found out tonight that one of the tapes of Vinton Wight's recordings has some more D&RGW stuff on it. Side A is 481 and 482 from Salida to Monarch and side B is 488/491/492 Durango to Cumbres. I know I have only heard part of the Monarch branch recordings, but I believe I have heard all of the Durango to Cumbres recordings. The best of the DGO to Cumbres stuff is from Durango to Chama. You hear them cut the helper in at Chama which is 492 and you hear it's hooter whistle.
