There was a great recording that was made and sold in the late fifties. It was called "Rio Grande to Silverton". There was one spectacular sequence of 481 (or 489?) trying to start a very heavy eastbound freight out of Durango area--lots of slipping. It had other recordings of K-36's and K-37's. I have a copy of this old record, though I have not listened to it in a very long while. I am not sure I even could scrape up an old phonogragh to listen if I wanted to.
