How many chimes on the K-27's during what years of service? What did they arrive with, and then subsequently have during the 20's, 30's, 40's, etc.
Were all or most K-27's the same?
I think I remember reading somewhere K-27's had a single chime whistle for a long time then changed to a 3-chime in the 40's/50's
Any info on specfic numbered K-27's would be appreciated too: 453, 461, 463 and 464.
