Right on Roger. Coker's comments were right on also.
One thing that seems to be lacking is a PLAN to address advertising and customer sevice. The Denver market has been left out completely. These folks know there is a train in Durango but when you mention Chama, Alamosa, or Antonito all you get is the deer in the headlights look. Just travel around to museums and tourist booths in Colorado and you will see very few brochures for the C&TS RR. Marketing can not be done from Chama alone.
Responsive customer service at the ticket counter and happy employees should be a part of the total marketing PLAN.
