Since “modern” folks only like to watch TV, put a camera on the front running board showing the cow scattering ahead, and put a camera in the tender showing the actions of the crew in the cab. Then conduct a full classroom study in the Cab or what has to be done to run the steam locomotives. There might be some interesting, informative things, and comical things that will happen to make everyone enjoy the trip. Passenger could watch some TV screen on the ceilings of the coaches but feel they were running the train as they watch the track ahead. And if they got bored, they could open the window and watch the real action of making miles.
Maybe a small zoo of some local animal and cattle close up could be a short attraction at Osier.
Better yet, spike the river with >Gold< and spread the word of a Bonanza.
Option #2: Keep it the same, but give the folks a classy train ride with clean equipment and quick turnaround.
