I've got 26 inches, how about you? *PIC*

The Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources (SPC RR) in Fremont, Ca. is going to be hiring a patternmaker in January to make patterns for a 24" & a 26" wheel. They will be late 19th century single plate, "A. WHITNEY & SONS PHILADELPHIA", with a straight 6 rib back.
The Society has also lined up a shop to do all the needed machining. The current order will be for 8 of the 24" and 8 of the 26". They are willing to increase the order if anyone, private or museum, is interested in some. The idea is to attempt an increase the order to reduce per-unit cost.
