Sorry, but I seriously doubt the existence of any UV&P rolling stock. I have walked every street and road in the Jerome area in the last 30 years and there is no sign. Its replacement, the standard gauge Verde Tunnel and Smelter, has (or had) plenty left. There were tracks still embedded in the concrete just west of town, the station is still there,a coal trestle was there, and for a while the water standpipe and ties were still west of town till the early 1990s. The last narrow gauge operation to close in Arizona was the 3-foot Phelps-Dodge line from CLifton to Morenci in 1932. Miraculously, their #20 (an outside frame 2-8-0 almost identical to a D&RGW C-21) survives, on display at the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona, CA. Don't forget the five unique 20" gauge steam engines from the same district on display in different parts of the Grand Canyon State. Fine Scale Railroader's 2004 annual has an excellent article on this equipment. It may still bre availabler from Trackside Emporium in Chama(505-756-1848).
