Hi, Mike,
It's the CHS that's 'serious' about the locomotive availability schedule, and it was posted in several places (including here, as well as the CHRRPA website, IIRC) that the #30's tender will be used temporarily with the #9.
As for boiler removal and the 9's rusted-out tender, I put "eyeballs-on" that situation as recently as July 10th out there in Strasburg.
