Back to the future & #28

I did a charter on the Sierra in May 1989 after shooting the 4449 to LA. Nils Huxtable and the guy at the Whistle stop in Sacramento organized it. Had 2-8-0 #28 on a mixed freight(one coach on the rear).
They were building the set for Back to the Future and we could see it in the distance as we rolled by on the train. We were forbidden to shoot any pictures of it. I think it actually burned up later.....So much for pictures, eh!!!
The Sierra is worth a trip if you are out that way, even though its not normal fair for you narrow gaugers!
