As mentioned above and evident by their paint scheme, they were built for service at Disneyland. Along with the park, they're 50 years old this year. The cars are particularly unique in that they're built to 5/8 scale, along with the first two DLRR locomotives, as well as the "Freight" consist (which was rebuilt and still operates at Disneyland). Out of the six cars, the four coaches are being rebuilt one at a time by the PCRy crew at their shop. The combine is privately owned, and the observation car became the "Lilly Belle" parlor car at Disneyland, where it is currently out of service. That's another story.
