Well I am going to show that I am a mature person and not continue to argue with Mr. Haring. I did not in any way mean for my comment to sound like I was down talking the Pacific Coast RR. I am more then happy to see them running steam I was just simply stating that they looked a little funny which is why I asked if they were home built. I however stand by what I said about him being the one out of line. You shouldnt judge a place by it being only a circle and not being FRA. Well the Porter is getting there. The chassie is almost done. the last thing we really have to do on that is the front truck. (what a mess) The biggest thing left is the boiler. We will do all the repairs in shop (we are a R-stamp shop and the only all volunteer organization to hold that). We hope to have the engine running by the end of the year. Let me know when you are coming down so I can show you around. Anyway.. how much track does the PCR have? How long have they been running and do they have a web site?
