Not quite...but they are former amusement park locomotives. Their caretaker is doing his best to improve their appearance. He'll probably chime in here soon after a busy week.
One is a Vulcan rebuilt from an 0-4-0T to a 2-4-0 by Sam Conti of Dayton, Ohio for the late George Roose (Cedar Point), though it instead operated on lease to a Maryland amusement park which is now owned by Six Flags (using an ex-Opryland locomotive, since converted to diesel). It was used in the TV production "Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman" starring Jane Seymour.
The other is a Crown rebuilt 1897 Porter (originally an 0-6-2T, now 2-6-2) known as "Melodia", which once operated on Lousiana's Laurel Valley Plantation. It operated at the Carowinds theme park in Fort Mill, SC (and its predecessor, supposedly) until about 1977. Another ex-Laurel Valley locomotive, "Maud L", made its first test-run as Disneyland Railroad #5 "Ward Kimball" yesterday.
Both locomotives, as well as the four ex-Disneyland RR "Retlaw One" coaches, were acquired from the private collection of the late Bill Norred. More information below.
