Running through the sage and red tape

April 27, 2005 07:20AM
I too would like to run Eureka through its old stomping grounds. I love central Nevada, it's wild open spaces, fragrant sage, and majestic mountain vistas. Only probolem is to recreate that situation takes cubic dollars. Actually, it would take cubic hundreds of thousands of dollars..No, millions of cubic dollars. I'm game for it. Any idea where the bucks would come from? Although I have the rail, and the ties, I have a sneaky suspicion the BLM might take a dim view of just throwing down a railroad without first determing what endangered bug I would flatten and otherwise keeping some bureaucrats fully employed going through spools of red tape to get permission.
