Yes, you are absolutely correct.
I can't imagine why anyone, railfan or not, would purchase this property. As much as I like the place, there really is nothing there worth the asking price.
Perhaps Joseph Bessimer put it best when he said, "There's a sucker born every minute, but none of the ever die."
