Re: Georgetown Loop ridership

You know, there wouldn't BE any b*tching if things were going as smoothly as the CHS would like us to believe! The people of Georgetown, Silver Plume and the Clear Creek region are just now starting to get nervous about this whole situation!
The numbers don't add up. They never have and they never will. Even if everything goes smoothly the numbers won't be there! You can't cram nine into six no matter how hard you try! Add to that the fact that this is going to be a BIG learning curve for almost everyone involved and you have more things to deal with!
The CHS came out and basically told the merchants of Georgetown that if their tourism revenues take a hit tough luck! There isn't going to be any kind of financial "bailout" unless it is related to a natural disaster (but the CHS promised that everything would be just fine!)
Hey, the CHS knows what they are doing so we should just shut up and mind our own business. (After all, THEY put the Georgetown Loop together, THEY ran the railroad for thirty years and THEY have all the answers! If you don't believe it just look at the timeline for the Loop on their website!)
