Thats a pretty cool shot Les. Now that I see this we should have had your camera in one side of the cupola instead of down below shooting out the side.
The brakeman on the platform(left side) was Alan Loomis. This was the afternoon portion, with the freight obvious. Actually shooting this was both cool, and nerve-racking at the same time!
I think John West may have some pics as well.
I remember Alan suggested that I do this on the Antonito-Cumbres portion to complete the railroad. Today I don't think we could afford the new rates though! This stuff is very mesmorizing to watch, but it has only met with marginal sales success. Last year putting them on DVD has helped some. At least it was something different from the normal C&TS video shoot!!! <img class=" />
