Don't have the D&RGW records in front of me, but the K36s and K37s did not have the dual gauge couplers at the same time. In 1933, the D&RGW moved all the K36s to the south end (Alamosa west) and moved all the K37s to Salida. The two Ks with dual gauge coulers were always assigned to Salida and were used to switch the long coal and limestone trains and made the runs from Salida to Alamosa which involved some dual gauge work on the valley line.
