Thanks for the compliment! But I think a lot of credit also goes to Baldwin for building a great locomotive in the first place and Chris DeWitt of the Nevada State Railroad Museum whose help was invaluable bringing her back to life. By the way, a couple weeks ago Eureka went through her state boiler inspection. I just received today Eureka's Nevada boiler certificate. A 130 years old and still chugging along....literally!
Now, when Chris gets the Glenbrook back together we have talked many times of doing a double header with it and Eureka. If the folks in D.C. were to get the Jupiter running, God Almighty, I do not think I could control myself with all three under steam in the same place. It will be heaven! Anybody out there know someone that can build a fire under the powers that be in the Seat O' Gov'ment?
