Re: C-16 No. 268 Tender

Its no wonder I and others seldom come to this sight. The smart-a_s responses are enough to turn people away. In a recent correspondence directly to Jerry Day, I stated that I have been an avid historian of the D&RGW narrow gauge for nearly 40 years and I have NEVER seen an article nor a post anywhere that even hinted slightly that the tender behind 268 came from a K-27 until about four months ago. All I was asking for was a little information, or more precisely, a little clarification. And if this question does pop up "20 minutes" from now from someone that does not know the answer, what difference does it make. Those that have specific knowledge about any subject should be willing to share that knowledge. And if it irratates someone that questions get repeated, perhaps that person should just pass over the post and keep useless remarks to one's self. It adds nothing to the discourse.
