I can not speak for the CHS, as far as I know they did not even know these cars existed. For my part, I have spent the last seven years trying to save these cars. The original owner of the land would either chase you off with a firearm or state that the cars were for sale for $10 or $20 thousand. When he died a few years ago, the land was put up for sale. I called the real estate agent several million times before I could convince him that I really did want the cars. He assured me, several times that he would call if anything was going to happen. Obviously he did not and for that I hope he roasts in hell. I also tried to let as many people & groups as possible know about the cars in hopes that they might have better luck. For my part, I should have paid more attention to the cars in the last month or so, maybe I would have seen the start of construction. Oh well, what's done is done.
