With record snowfalls in the West (most since 1916) got me to also thinking of the spring opening of the C&TS. I will have to dig out my photos of the '70s rotary runs which it is hard to believe was 30 years ago now. Maybe Carlos can give us an update with snowpack conditions, could we see the Rotary fired up to clear the line? or at least a run with the Jordan spreader? Maybe it is time to start thinking about a spring snow clearing excursion.
