I agree 100%. Really fantastic photos.
As someone who has been researching snow fighting on the D&RGW and RGS for years and will publish a book on the subject someday, it is amazing to think this stuff is still being used. Flanger OF was based in Alamosa for years and was one of two flangers with wide wings (the other was OL). OF was often used ahead of the San Juan over Cumbres.
