The other thing thats so neat about this is that in a discussion group that largely focuses on all the negative stuff that happens to the industry like the GT loop mess, and other usual news that tends to be negative on the steam scene in general it is refreshing that something like this takes places.
When everyone is talking about stuff in the past(me included), its cool when something like this takes place in the PRESENT. The fact it took place in a largely remote area(Rockwood to Cascade) makes it all the more fascinating to guys like me who enjoy winter operations, and good photography. It's sorta like the forbidden fruit that you just can't quite get too!
Looks like a year to hit the NG this summer when the daughter graduates! But, boy I much prefer shooting this sort of winter operation! When you see stuff like flangers, wedge plows, and even the Rotary OY in operation you feel like you are witnessing something really special. Maybe one of these years I can make it to Durango in the winter. That would be fun....are motels cheaper then?? <img class=" />
