Forney moved when REI decided they wanted to put a sporting goods store in the old Forney building and bought them out. Supposedly the building is haunted, at least that's what we hear every Halloween.
Their new location is in a warehouse which is large enough to house everything they've got (including the railroad stuff). As I understand it, they've moved everything except for the railroad equipment. They've had some problems because they've had to cross private property to get to the UP rails and to do that, they've had to lay some track and stuff like that.
Seems to me that they could open even if they're not completely moved in and raise a little revenue that way.
