$600K???? for a move????

Maybe someone out there can explain this, but I don't understand how a rail movement can run up to this kind of a figure $600K?? It would seem to me that you could crane and truck for much less, even given the Big Boy's size and weight. Gee Whiz, you could restore some steam locos for less!!(can we say 483?--there's my required narrow gauge reference for this post! )
