Well then head on over to White Pass & Yukon or other Colorado tourist lines that run diesels. The unique thing about C&TS is the steam operation, and not only that, the original engines that once ran there in regular service. Take that away, and you might as well go to "Anywhere USA Tourist Tree Tunnel Railroad".
I have nothing against diesels, as long as they aren't on Colorado Narrow Gauge passenger and charter freight trains! I'll get my flame retardant boiler-lagging suit on now so fire away diesel dude!
