GLR #40 and Santa

October 05, 2004 03:48PM
Hi, Greg,
One positive note is that a GLRR diesel is expected to power the Thomas train at the Colorado Railroad Museum this weekend and the next.
Also, word is #40 will lead the Santa Claus Special at the Museum. It's been a long time since steam and St. Nick partnered up in Golden.
Long term is less clear. THE Georgetown Loop Railroad (caps intentional) is exploring several options, but like any good business, they're taking their time and not making any rash moves or decisions.
