At this time, we just don't want to get into all the work. To do it right we'd have to strip the boiler, etc. And right now it is nicely presentable.
Small things get done. The draw bar is off and so is the casting for it on the locomotive. We found that the hole had worn oval and it was causing the draw bar to bind up while switching the Emma around our track.
Dan, the smog devices were not working. From what I hear the soft coal produced cinders that the neighbors did not appreciate getting on their cloths and laundry (when clothslines were used, in the pre-dryer years). The little wood burner does not have the cinder problem and is easlier to fire and run.
