The C&TS Dispatch, Vol. 13 No. 2 Summer 2000 arrived in the mail yesterday and contained a 3 1/2 page article titled "Goin' Firing" by Earl Knoob. Might I suggest any would be firemen read this excellently written article then rethink any idea of being a "fireman for a day" and leave the job to the professionals. I look forward to a future article in which Earl writes about running the locomotives.
