Thom, most everyone here in this forum has "sweat equity" into the C&TS. I can only echo what my friends have said that it is the better of the two choices, especially this time of year. However, D&SNG has it's own merits:
- Beautifully maintained equipment and trackage.
- The High Line above the Animas is a scenic highlight.
- The feel of a busy rail line with 4 trains a day each direction running on a single track.
I guess the comment of "Disneyland" is what I want to refute. It's simply not an accurate comparison of the D&SNG.
