Maybe she does know something— But given the fact that Tomas Campos has a political background, one has to wonder if the governor may have been behind his hiring?
It would sadden me to see politics start to be injected into the running of the C&TS and jobs given out as political plums. I still say that the way we have commissioners being employees and managers of the railroad operating company, which is itself wholly owned and managed by the commissioners, is a colossal conflict of interest. We can’t expect the politically-appointed Commissioners to provide oversight to themselves, yet that is what we have.
