#40 was acquired by Lindsey Ashby, who started his operations at Central City.
I'll take your information as accurate that the operation was moved to Silver Plume in 1976.
Once there, a seperate corporation was established, but was still owned by the Ashbys. Sometime later a partner was added, as was the scope of operations. The original outfit was not the GLRR. It seems to me that the equipment was originally lettered DL&G.
