Re: A 2 ft 6 in gauge 0-6-2 bringing a mixed train into Molln

With 0-8-0 699 103 undergoing work in the engine house, the task of handling the mixed train and freight trains has gone to one of the 0-6-2Ts, engine 298 52. The mixed train, coming from Klaus, is making a brief station stop at Molln before continuing down the Steyr River Valley to Garsten. Note the parcels and LCL in the box car.







Since I was chasing the narrow gauge on foot and by ng passenger trains, following the mixed train was not an option, but luckily the narrow gauge was still providing a substantial passenger service for the local towns and villages, so that moving to new photo locations was easy.
