That is a sound idea.
There has been a bit of change in venue for the radio shows. NEXT Friday (July 30, 5pm) another Georgetown News show (102.7 FM)is going to be interviewing Loop Communication Committee members (we'd hoped to continue that on our show this friday, but a venue change came up). I think that some of the responses will likely address the comments that the engineer made on our last show. ie, time, money, historical value of overhauling, etc. I hope that those who can listen, will and if possible will also call in to the show (303) 567-4628 if you have anything of value to add to their discussions.
As I mentioned before, it is suspect to some in our community that the CHS and Loop Committee have yet to talk about the specifics of the various rolling stock that they have proposed and have not brought anyone in from the rail community to confirm their optimistic statements.
