VERY windy at times, Greg -
But usually from the west. Roger's video at 0:35 looks like it was taken on a calm day looking east from above the trees, but you could hike around east from The Rock and then north to an overview of Tanglefoot Curve and be out of the wind behind the trees and also be able to see down along Cumbres Creek to Apache Crossing and with a REALLY long lens quite a way down the Los Pinos Valley. I think Osier would be hidden behind the hills west of Cascade Trestle, but you might be able to see the track along the cliff near m.p. 317. Could be an interesting and unusual super-long shot of a westbound charter in the afternoon
