Yes, I posted the photo, found while going through slides from 1970. They were printed on sepia tone paper and given away like handbills, including a copy taped to a door window on 0503 during autumn 1973.
What is quite interesting is that apparently quite a bit of the Alamosa machine shop tools listed never made it to the new railroad. One example is the “Locomotive Unwheeling Hoist - Whiting” which was over a track section that ran between the turntable to the machine shop transfer table (488 sat underneath it for about 4 years, waiting for a shopping that never happened). The hoist was intact until July 1973 when it was demolished, and I never learned what the story was.
It also lists the Antonito Red Devil coal loader that demoed (supposedly inadvertently) by the scrapper contractor.
I’ve often wondered about the all the large machine shop tools listed, like the planer and lathe, how many of these were delivered to the C&TS. Supposedly there was a small warehouse near the Antonito terminal where some of these were stored.
Oddly, there is only 1 stock car listed, out of the 2 dozen or so that were stored in Chama.
