I would not be opposed to calling in someone who is familiar with CAT diesel engines. John Hammond has such a person; the question is how much money he would want to go to Antonito from Georgetown.
We did accomplish some good during the time we worked on 19; it no longer leaks diesel fuel around the fuel pump; also, we replaced #1 traction motor. There is still more to be done, however. Something is wrong with the secondary generator system, the system which generates 64 volts for the various systems in the locomotive. George had to lock one of the contactors in the closed position to make it charge.
Also, I'd like to see if we could get some ancillary items such as a real RR radio, additional headlights like John's #15, and also maybe a set of Rio Grande horns from a Geep being dissambled at Omnitrax. I'll let you guys know what I find out.
