From the discussions I have seen online, the "Reno" can be cosmetically restored in the short term but operational later.
If I am not mistaken, V&T No. 29 (ex-Longview, Portland & Northern Railway No. 680)'s 1,472-day inspection won't be due until at least 2023, so it could be possible for cosmetic work to begin on the "Reno" around the same time.
