The wife and I took an easy stroll along the right-of-way to the turntable several years ago. Got past the guardian marmoset (resident of second floor of Joker Tunnel boarding house) to the roadbed a bit above and behind. No Jeep or such would have made it this way...to many trees in the road. Traces of ties and rails here and there. Much of the turntable was then still in place. I have been given to understand that it is on private land, though we encountered no postings or fences at that time. Pete
