The turntable and surviving Yankee Girl mine structures were within a day or two of being demolished as recently as a couple of weeks ago. According to the Durango Herald, as of July 16 the Yankee Girl mine headframe, boarding house etc. are OK for another three months or so.

However the owner wants to get rid of them. The article doesn't mention anything about the turntable, however since the owner's objection is with people crossing his property to look at the historic sites it would seem likely that the turntable would be on his list too. At any rate, if you want to go up and see it you'd be well advised to hurry. It may not be around a whole lot longer.
