I ain't had much to say lately, but you got my attention here John. You are 100% right, except for one thing...I guess that should then be 99% right. Colorado isn't the only place subject to these types of money grubbing history destroying tear up anything beautiful build a golf course developers. I swear they are the ones that are turning America the Beautiful into America the paved. They take anything that is natural and turn it into something that isn't and it is just driving me to the point of distraction.
It seems that no one really cares much anymore. Oh, there are a few pockets here and there that make a valient stand against the oncoming bulldozer, but they dont have the financial resources or numbers to make much of an impact. Eventually they lose, and the condos go up, parking lots put in, and a sign erected that proclaims the place "Whispering Pines" or "Shadow Creek" or some other natural sounding peaceful name. Of course you cant find a pine tree or a creek anywhere with a divining rod.
I look around here what they have done to my beloved southern Nevada and take a deep breath. Yup...There's nothing like the smell of hyprocracy in the morning.
