I hope my posts are not to be taken as support of the CHS. I have been trying to learn more and pass on what little knowledge I have gained.
The meeting last night had stated objectives:
"Provide the affected communities with an update on the RFI and RFP processes. Hear and integrate input from the affected communities on the issues to be addressed in the RFP."
While I to would like to know more of the same questions you raise, that was not the reason for the meeting. And I don't know that "the GLR now to be apparently cast aside so lightly" or "they’re being dismissed so summarily" is what happened. While it appears to us that way, was anyone here actually involved in the discussions?
And what is past, is just that, past. Beating a dead horse will not bring it back to life.
Also remember, the current operator is eligible to bid for the next contract. And it may turn out that the RFP's might open some CHS eyes and there could be some changes in their goals.
